Dear Parishioners,

At a recent Parish Council meeting it was decided to seek to identify  all

unused plots in the graveyard at St Mary’s Barr.  To achieve this we have marked, with numbered pegs, the plots to which there may be a claim.  We are requesting parishioners, that should you believe you have a claim or have been promised a plot in the graveyard kindly submit, in writing,  with reference to the numbered peg, details of your claim along with any relevant documentation eg receipts etc you may have. All claims should be submitted to the parish office  on or before 31st January 2024.  Each numbered peg represents a single grave 8 x 4 ft.  Following this process all unclaimed plots will be offered for sale.
